Supported Work Placements for
Refugee Women
Routes is supporting London employers to develop work placements for refugee women.
Routes is calling for inclusive businesses, organisations, and teams to host refugee women on work placements this summer. Not only is this a fantastic opportunity for women to overcome barriers to meaningful employment, but local employers benefit from tapping into this hidden talent pool, who have a significantly higher retention rate than other employees. Lasting anywhere from 4 weeks to 3 months, these placements give you firsthand insight into the talent these women can bring to your team and make a big impact for them.
Our support to you:
Routes handles the initial recruitment headache - advertising roles to our community of 300+ talented women, reviewing applications, screening candidates, and matching them to your job spec.
Routes offers training and guidance for your existing teams on inclusivity and best practices for welcoming colleagues from refugee backgrounds
There are small financial grants available to acknowledge the work in setting up a placement.
Routes provides wraparound care for the candidates, including strengths coaching, upskilling, and regular check-ins.
